BIOGRAPHY

I grew up in northeast Connecticut. I started playing the piano at age 5. Throughout elementary school, I studied classical music. Once I got into high school, I started branching out and exploring different types of music. I played in a touring show band in high school, and I also played in the symphonic band, the jazz band, and was the pianist for the choir.

After high school, I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. I completed my sophomore year at Berklee, and then transferred to the Hartt School of Music, at the University of Hartford, where I got my degree.

My early career saw me playing at a cabaret theatre restaurant in Maine, playing in local Connecticut restaurants, and a few short stints as a pianist on Holland America Cruise Lines.

In 1997, I moved to Florida and had my first experience performing full time at a Dueling Piano Bar called "Jellyrolls" in both their Orlando and Tampa clubs.

In 1999 I moved to New York City and performed for a few years through the Hank Lane Agency. There was a lot of work playing music for wedding ceremonies and also playing with a large wedding band for receptions. We also performed regularly at The Rainbow Room at the top of the GE Building at Rockefeller Center. I also played for many corporate parties in New York City, at some of the nicest places like The Waldorf Astoria, the Pierre Hotel, and Windows on the World at the World Trade Center.

In 2003 I found myself traveling out to Las Vegas to perform dueling pianos at Harrahs, the New York New York casino, and other Vegas casinos.
At that same time, I was traveling to perform at dueling piano bars in Omaha, Little Rock, and Springfield, MO.

In 2004 I decided to make the move to Las Vegas and I've been here ever since, performing full time at all of the different casinos. Vegas has been very good to me and I've had the opportunity to perform in all the major Dueling Piano bars to this day, as well as performing as a solo pianist, performing with my trio, and sometimes as a 4 piece band.

I have my roots firmly planted here in Vegas, however, I can and often do travel around the country to perform. I've performed all over the country from California and Montana, all the way to Newport, RI. I have a yearly engagement on an Ohio State Buckeye Cruise for Cancer Research on Royal Carribean Cruise Lines. I've performed as far north as Red Deer and Fort MacMurray Alberta, and this summer I was hired to perform in Florence Italy. I very much look forward to many more years of performing. I'm lucky to be doing what I love.

Thanks for reading my bio. Although my schedule does vary from week to week, simply send me an email and I can let you know where I am performing each week here in Vegas. Currently I play 4-5 nights a week at the Eastside Lounge in the Encore Casino here in Vegas.
